Ibom Youth Council seeks government, international support for peacebuilding, community development

Founder and National President of Ibom Youth Council, Sir Lord Mormon Knight, has called on government agencies, international organizations, and corporate bodies to support the council’s initiatives on peacebuilding, community development, youth empowerment, and patient safety.

In an interview with The Mirror, Sir Lord Mormon Knight emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving the council’s objectives.

He highlighted the council’s focus areas, including scholarship and intensivist programs, environmental conservation, and advocacy campaigns.

“We are committed to empowering youths and promoting patients’ safety,” he said.

“We believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of our people.”

Sir Lord Mormon Knight also urged the government to prioritize the needs of the less privileged, reduce poverty, and create opportunities for economic growth and development.

As a non-political organization, Ibom Youth Council seeks to promote peaceful coexistence, community development, and youth empowerment through its various programs and initiatives.

The council has already made significant strides in its nine months of existence, with over a million supporters across different states.

Sir Lord Mormon Knight expressed optimism that with the support of government agencies, international organizations, and corporate bodies, the council can achieve even more in the years to come.
