Ibiono Ibom endorses Tinubu, Eno ahead of 2027 elections

Elders, women, youths and other stakeholders of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State have unanimously reaffirmed their total support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno in the 2027 general elections.
The resolution was reached at a special New Year get-together of Ibiono Eastern Ward 1, which turned into a political carnival, attracting major political figures from the area.
Hosted by Isantim Churchill Udoh, a political chieftain from the area, the event drew political heavyweights, led by the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Asuakak Umoh; the House of Assembly member, Hon. Moses Essien; the Chairman of Ibom Airport Development Company, Dr. Iniobong Essien; the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Traders, Akp. Idorenyin Raphael; as well as chapter and ward leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), serving and former political office holders, royal fathers, women leaders and youths, among others.
Speaking at the event, the host, Isantim Churchill Udoh, said the people were determined to mobilise support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno, insisting that all political structures in the area had been united for the APC in line with the governor’s unity agenda.
Udoh, who is the coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda in the area, highlighted the milestones recorded by the Tinubu administration and urged Nigerians to support the government to sustain its reforms towards building a better and greater Nigeria.
He added that the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno has transformed key sectors of Akwa Ibom State, stressing that a second term would further position the state as a destination of choice and a model for other states to emulate.
The event, which was held at Isantim Churchill Udoh’s country home in Ikot Edok, Ikot Obong, Ibiono, featured the distribution of various food items and gifts to elders, women and youths of Ibiono Eastern Ward 1.
Goodwill messages were received from the Dean of the College of Personal Aides to the Governor, Dr. Essien Ndueso, and the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Nsibiet John.
