Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO), has been honoured as the Council Chairman of the Year 2024 by Civics Weekly Magazine.

This prestigious award recognizes KSO’s significant contributions to community development, particularly the comprehensive rehabilitation of Pipeline Road, Idimu.

The once-neglected Pipeline Road has been transformed into a 1,050-meter interlocked avenue equipped with an advanced drainage system.

The project has alleviated transportation challenges, spurred economic growth, and improved the overall quality of life for residents.

Prince Mike Adewoye, a respected community leader, praised KSO’s efforts, saying, “You brought laughter to our faces, and our hearts rejoiced. We shall tell our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren about your deed and the tenacity that made it possible.”

KSO’s recognition as Council Chairman of the Year 2024 underscores his exemplary leadership and commitment to community development.

His visionary approach serves as an inspiration, demonstrating that impactful governance is achievable at the local level.

Pipeline Road, Idimu is now deservedly known as Hon Kunle Sanyaolu Avenue, a testament to KSO’s enduring legacy in Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
