HENSEK Integrated Services at it again

HENSEK Integrated Services has fast become a household name in Akwa Ibom State when it comes to construction, making statements of standard with global reckoning.

The exceptional performance of this indigenous construction giant, “HENSEK” is often nicknamed as “the Julius Berger” of Akwa Ibom State.

This indigenous construction giant was discovered in Akwa Ibom State some nine years ago during the administration of the immediate past Governor of the state, Mr Udom Emmanuel.

This goes a long way to show that leadership is not just being at the helm of affairs but possessing the right intellectual capacity to discover the right partnership for effective service delivery.

Today, former Governor Udom Emmanuel is being praised to the highest heavens for his massive breathtaking infrastructural development and expansion across the length and breadth of Akwa Ibom State.

This is a clear indication that having the vision is one thing, but having the right partner that translates the vision into concrete realities is another, that is where HENSEK came in for Mr Udom Emmanuel, and the handwriting is literarily on the roads, not the drawing board because Hensek has more results than explanations.

While the former governor was in the business of discovering those who could help him drive his vision, it is important to note here that it was not just HENSEK that was discovered, but he proved himself a worthy partner and utility player.

HENSEK’s five star performance on the 10 lanes dual carriage ring road in Uyo and other sophisticated roads completed by then Governor Udom Emmanuel are all eloquent testimony of his engineering capacity.

For nine years, HENSEK has always been on ground to rescue on any project that contractors cannot meet state government specification.

The most recent one is the ongoing 29 kilometer Airport road/ Nsit Atai/ Okobo/ Oron road dual carriage that was first awarded to Renesance Construction in 2016. The company’s failure to meet the Udom Emmanuel standard of quality and excellence delivery led to the termination of that contract after two years.

The then Governor, again, re-awarded the project to Aquatic Construction Limited, again just like Renesance, Aquatic did a very poor job on that road that led to another termination of the contract and again re-awarded to DPL construction because of numerous construction jobs already handled by HENSEK Integrated Services.

Still not satisfied with their performance, the incumbent Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno on the 13th April 2024 again terminated the DPL contract on the 29 kilometer road for poor performance.

With his track record of excellent delivery of all construction projects, again HENSEK came to the rescue in the 29 kilometer Airport/ Nsit Atai up to Oron dual carriage road.

And the testimony is ubiquitous: Can this road be like this? Hensek makes the difference! Just few months on the road, the project has taken shapes as many people are already in love with the engineering masterstroke given by HENSEK.

The road is now well arranged and drainage system properly channeled, well compacted surface, and excellent application of all known engineering tactics.

With the way the road is progressing rapidly and the quality of work done, the Airport/ Nsit Atai/ Okobo/ Oron road will not just be completed on time, but will be added to the list of quality roads with excellence finishing in Akwa Ibom State.

Already, the people of Nsit Atai, Okobo, and Oron are in a joyous mode as their tears on the road and frustrations have been wiped away by this construction giant.

Apart from celebrating the engineering prowlers of HENSEK Integrated Services, the people are very appreciative of the immediate past Governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel for giving the state a sensitive governor in Pastor Umo Eno who, like his predecessor, is utilizing HENSEK for the good of humanity.

The deplorable state of the road has been excellently addressed, people now run from Uyo to Oron in few minutes without parking their cars by the road side or visit mechanics on return, as was the regrettable routine. Hensek is a game changer, indeed! This is a display of professional proficiency!

Already, dividends of the emerging good road has started to be enjoyed by the people. Worthy of note was the drastic reduction in the transportation fare from Uyo to Oron before the current high cost of petrol that adversely affected commuters. This is one very essential economic road that leads to everything from the sea, and above all, the Ibom Deep Seaport.

With the quality of work done and the correctness of every construction indices, this road is being prepared for big trucks and trailers that will be moving goods to Ibom Air and other states of the federation on completion of Ibom Deep Seaport project.

For his years of quality engineering service delivery with consistent record of people centric approach, HENSEK should be under-study by other indigenous and upcoming construction firms while HENSEK brand is recommended for global engineering solutions.
