Great Hope Vulnerable Widow and Orphan Foundation, founded by Hajiya Barrister Hadiza Miko, is making significant strides in empowering widows and orphans across Nigeria.

The foundation, under the visionary leadership of Hajiya Miko, focuses on equipping vulnerable individuals with practical skills and educational support to foster self-reliance and reduce poverty.

Through its programs, the foundation teaches orphans and widows skill acquisition in various trades, including making Vaseline, crafting bags, shoe-making, and other vocational activities. Beyond skill development, the foundation provides essential support such as school books and uniforms to help children access education and build a better future.

The efforts of the foundation have attracted the attention of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, who visited the organization to support its initiatives in reducing poverty and uplifting vulnerable communities.

With a vision to expand its reach, the Great Hope Foundation is now setting up executives across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja).

By 2027, the foundation aims to make a significant impact on poverty eradication in Nigeria, ensuring that widows and orphans are not left behind in the country’s development journey.

Hajiya Miko’s unwavering dedication and commitment to empowering the vulnerable continue to inspire hope, as the foundation spreads its mission nationwide, touching countless lives and providing a pathway to self-reliance and social inclusion.
