Grassroots Mobiliser Okedara Kolawole bags Mirror Newspaper Excellence Award

National Chairman, Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGRAM), South West Zone, Hon. Okedara Kolawole, has been honoured with the prestigious Mirror Newspaper Excellence Award for Heroes of Our Time in recognition of his contributions to grassroots political mobilization, community leadership, and democratic participation.
The award, instituted by The Mirror Newspaper, celebrates outstanding individuals whose dedication to public service and community development has significantly contributed to national progress and the strengthening of democratic institutions.
Kolawole’s recognition stems from his leadership role in mobilizing grassroots support and promoting political awareness across communities in the South West region.
As a key figure in the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGRAM), he has been instrumental in encouraging citizen participation in democratic processes and fostering stronger connections between political leadership and local communities.

The award will be formally presented during the Mirror Newspaper Excellence Awards Ceremony, where distinguished personalities from different sectors will be celebrated for their remarkable contributions to national development.
The ceremony is scheduled to hold on April 23, 2026, at the LCCI Conference and Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The event is expected to bring together leaders from politics, business, traditional institutions, civil society, and the media in celebration of individuals whose work continues to inspire positive change and societal progress.
