Fear, confusion grip APCs as coalition emerges

By Prof Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr

This series is going to be here for a long time, it will always be brief, reader-friendly and pungent, and I shall do this for as long as necessary and possible.

The call and the motive of this series are to weaponize ‘Truth’ to torpedo the pervasive falsehood of the Ruling Party. Nothing rattles them like ‘Truth’ because they are pseudo-progressives. They mouth what they do not believe, and have elevated falsehood to an Act of State.

I shall put Truth to war against their perfidy, against their deceit, against their debauchery, and their mendacity and false propaganda. And the TRUTH shall prevail.

They say that the emergent coalition is a Joke. But the Joke is the Ruling Party. The APC has failed on all scores, and rattled to the bones by their Olympic failure they like a Football Club are busy buying Attackers and Defenders, and such is the procured and contrived gale of defections and cross-carpetings that you see everywhere.

They have soiled and littered the political space with wanton corruption, larceny and malfeasance, they are so corrupt, corruptive and corruptible, and they stink so badly that we the people must organize now to chase them out in 2027.

Between 2010 and 2015 Jonathan dared corruption, however his fight against corruption was uneventful. He failed. Between 2015 and 2023 President Mohammadu Buhari despite that quotable quote “If Nigeria does not kill corruption, corruption will kill Nigeria” romanticized corruption, lost woefully to corruption, and stood defeated by corruption.

He failed. Since May 2023 when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s PBAT regime came on stream, corruption has come fully on stream, corruption runs the show, corruption calls the shots, corruption holds the sway, and corruption is the Commander-In-Chief. Yes, Corruption is the C-In-C.

In the 24 months of the PBAT Presidency, the tale ranges from massive electoral larceny ala the largely flawed Imo, Kogi and Edo States Gubernatorial elections no thanks to the heavily corrupt Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to the monstrous case of Budget Padding, now it has reached befuddling Olympic dimensions, yet it doesn’t bother this monstrously corrupt Presidency, nor does the demonically corrupt Ruling Party headed by the one who was caught on Camera stashing looted dollars into his Danshiki, some call him Gandollar but his name remains Ganduje, give a damn.

The 2025 Budget was padded with almost 7 Trillion naira, and this Presidency is quiet. They will fix a single Borehole with 213m naira, and a single Streetlight with 266m naira and it doesn’t matter. They are building a Coastal Highway without a Budget or cost evaluation, and they renovated the International Conference Centre in Abuja with 39b naira, the President and his appointees have nothing to do with due process, little wonder cronyism and nepotism rather than open bidding calls the shot. Because the present watch is captive to everything wrong, wry and weird, and because they are too filthy for self-purgation they are mortally jittery and brutally scared of the emergent coalition.

Because they are too dirty to come clean they have chosen propaganda over governance oblivious of the fact that the lifespan of falsehood and propaganda is short. And because they oblige the wistful demagoguery of Court-jesters they do not know what time it is.

The emergent coalition shall trump them because they have nothing with which and by which to campaign come 2027. To continue to say that things are getting better and that they have taken tough decisions to reset Nigeria whereas the present government remains the most wasteful and the most corrupt in our nation’s history is their Achilles Heel, and through the emergent coalition 2027 shall be their Waterloo.

Don’t get anxious to read more, I promised a brief piece, and I shall keep it short. The sequel to this shall pungently attend to issues like the failure of the PBAT Presidency in the Security of lives and property; the failures in the Energy and Power sector; the lack of luster performance in Education; the policy flip flops and the Economy; the failures on National Harmony, Orientation and Inclusion; how the Administration stifles Freedoms and Liberty; the failures on Job Creation and Job Security; the failures on Agriculture and Food Security; and how the PBAT Presidency diminishes Due Process and Accountability. Yes, with facts and figures, we shall destroy the debauchery of the propaganda machinery of the present watch, and with the TRUTH we shall strip the weavers of falsehood naked.

May Nigeria be great again.
