Ex-FIIRO board member hails Ejigbo Council Chairman’s Christmas gesture to party members

Former board member, Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO) and All Progressive Congress ( APC), Chieftain, Chief Ajayi Nicholas Chidiebere Adekunle, has commended, Executive Chairman, Ejigbo Local Development Council Area (LCDA), Alhaji Monsurudeen Bello, for distributing Christmas gifts in cash to their party members across wards and zones in the area.

Speaking with The Mirror Newspaper, Chief Adekunle, praised the council boss for his kind gesture, which he said has brought joy to APC members in Ejigbo LCDA.

He noted that the council boss’s efforts have helped strengthen the party’s bond and foster a sense of community among its members.

The event, which took place at the council secretariat, Ejigbo, was attended by stakeholders, including the Ejigbo APC Party Chairman, Alhaji Fatai Kasumu, ward Chairmen, women leaders, youth leaders, cabinet members, and councilors.

A former local council chairman in Ejigbo and former commissioner in Lagos State, Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan, commended the council boss for his kind gesture.

He also commended the cordial relationship between the party chairman and the council chairman, which has helped build bridges among interests and groups irrespective of background.

The council boss, Alhaji Bello, itemized some of his achievements, including the construction of Ifoshi road, which measures over one kilometer.

He also seized the opportunity to sensitize members to exercise peaceful sharing devoid of rancor and wished every party member a merry Christmas and happy New Year in advance.
