Enugu infrastructure revolution: Igwe Ogadagidi, South East monarch Chairman, panegyrise Gov. Mbah

Chairman South East Traditional Rulers Council and Chairman Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council, His
Royal Majesty Igwe Sir Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu, Igwe Ogadagidi of Edem-Ani Ogwugwu in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State alongside Traditional Rulers in Enugu State has showered encomiums on the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s for his visionary and transformative
approach to infrastructural development in Enugu State.

The Enugu State Traditional Rulers Council issued a communique after their meeting in Enugu noting that the positive feedback and testimonials from their various community members highlights the impact of Governor Mbah’s infrastructure initiatives on their lives.

They affirmed that the infrastructure revolution led by Governor Mbah has significantly enhanced access to basic services such as healthcare, education, and public amenities for local communities.

The Traditional Rulers unanimously eulogised Governor Mbah for the ongoing construction 260 Smart Schools and Health facilities across the State. The pacesetting monumental building at the International Conference Centre, ongoing construction of Presidential Hotel.

They maintained that through collaborative efforts with traditional leaders, Governor Mbah has spearheaded key projects that have not only improved connectivity and accessibility but have also ushered in economic and social benefits for residents.

The Traditional Rulers Further
eulogised the governor for the
rehabilitation and resurfacing of major Streets across Enugu State, improved cleanliness of Enugu State environment occasioned by systematic waste management in Enugu State and the anticipated disruptive innovation on the transport infrastructure in Enugu State and many more.

Igwe Asadu speaking on behalf on behalf of the revered Traditional Rulers stated that the collaboration between traditional rulers and His Excellency Governor Peter Mbah has resulted in successful partnership initiatives, showcasing the power of working together towards a common goal of improving the lives of the people.

Igwe Ogadagidi assured that Enugu State Traditional rulers shall continue to play a pivotal role in supporting Governor Mbah’s development projects by mobilizing communities, providing local knowledge, and ensuring project sustainability.

Responding on behalf of the Governor, the Commissioner for Local Government, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Deacon Okey Ogbodo stated that the Governor has shown commitment to the traditional institution by reconstituting and Inaugurating the 8th Council of Enugu State Traditional Rulers.

He charged the Traditional Rulers to effectively represent the government in all thier domains by ensuring that justice, equity and transparency reigns supreme in their various communities while complementing the efforts of the State Government as the Chief security officers of their various kingdoms and towns by ensuring that security and progress is achieved for the good people of Enugu State.
