As the holy month of Ramadan draws to a close, Hon. Francis Barthlomew Chima, popularly known as OmoBarca, extended heartfelt Eid el Mubarak greetings to the Muslim faithful and residents of Ajeromi-Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
In a message filled with gratitude and reflection, the lawmaker praised the collective perseverance and spiritual growth achieved throughout the sacred period.
“Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Almighty Allah for granting us the grace, strength, and patience to complete Ramadan. This season is a time of devotion, sacrifice, and charity, reminding us of the importance of empathy, discipline, and unity in our communities,” OmoBarca said.
Highlighting a remarkable milestone, Hon. Chima celebrated the successful completion of a 30-day breakfast outreach program, now in its 15th consecutive year.
The initiative, which supports families during the fasting period, has become a symbol of compassion and steadfast commitment to service.
“This outreach stands as a testament to consistency and the unwavering spirit of service. I am grateful to Allah for sustaining this tradition and allowing us to positively impact the lives of families across our constituency,” he noted.
OmoBarca encouraged residents to carry the values reinforced during Ramadan, compassion, generosity, patience, and kindness, into daily life beyond the fasting season.
He emphasized that such virtues are vital to building a more inclusive and prosperous society in Ajeromi-Ifelodun.
He also acknowledged the contributions of partners, volunteers, and supporters whose efforts made the 30-day outreach a success. “Your generosity, dedication, and prayers have been invaluable. May Allah reward you abundantly,” he said.
Looking forward, Hon. Chima called for continued collaboration to deepen community development, enhance opportunities for youth, strengthen family units, and ensure that no member of the constituency is left behind.
He concluded with prayers for enduring peace, sustainable prosperity, and a collective sense of purpose for Ajeromi-Ifelodun, while wishing all a joyful and blessed Eid.
