EFCC cracks down on cybercrime: 25 suspected fraudsters arrested in Benin City

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), arrested 25 suspected internet fraudsters at different locations in Benin City, Edo State.

According to the Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Mr. Dele Oyewale, the suspects were arrested based on credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related fraud.

Items recovered from them include eight exotic cars, laptops and phones

They will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
