Residents of Ejigbo in Lagos were filled with excitement following the grand opening of City View Bar and Lodge, a modern entertainment and relaxation hub designed to redefine leisure experiences in the area.

Strategically located at Ile-Epo Bus Stop, Ejigbo, the facility is already being described as a first-of-its-kind establishment within the community and its environs, offering a blend of hospitality, entertainment, and comfort under one roof.

City View Bar and Lodge features a wide range of services and facilities, including a fully equipped bar, club, lodging apartments, game sections, a power-generating centre, and a rooftop relaxation space aimed at delivering a wholesome leisure experience to customers.

Speaking with journalists during the grand opening, the Human Resources Manager, Sharon Francis, disclosed that the centre officially commenced operations in January.

She explained that the vision behind the project was to create a serene environment where people can unwind and feel at home.

“The inspiration behind City View is to make people come and feel relaxed. That was the purpose of establishing this place,” she said.

Highlighting the facility’s offerings, Francis noted that City View provides diverse accommodation options, including standard rooms, luxury apartments, and family-style units with multiple bedrooms, living areas, and kitchens.

“We have a club, lodging, rooms, and apartments. Some apartments come with two bedrooms, a parlour, and a kitchen, while others have a room, a parlour, and a kitchen. We also have games, a Gen Centre, and a rooftop for relaxation. There are so many activities available here,” she added.

Describing the grand opening ceremony as “fantastic and awesome,” Francis expressed optimism about the future of the establishment, projecting steady growth in the coming year.

“Our priority is customer satisfaction. We will ensure that both our customers and staff grow alongside the business. In the next year, we want to see significant progress across all levels,” she assured.

On security, she emphasized that the management has put in place robust measures to guarantee the safety of guests and staff.

According to her, the facility is equipped with 36 surveillance cameras strategically installed across key areas, including the club, rooms, rooftop, kitchen, and hallways.

“We have cameras everywhere to ensure safety and proper monitoring of activities within the premises,” she stated.
Francis also extended an open invitation to prospective customers, assuring them of excellent service delivery.

“To our customers, both old and new, we appreciate you and invite everyone to visit. We promise 100 percent satisfaction. We are here to make you comfortable and to serve you,” she said.

Also speaking at the event, Prince Sunny Adewonyi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), commended the initiative, describing it as a significant step toward the development of Ejigbo.

“I am very happy with what is happening here today. Developments like this will boost Ejigbo’s growth. The area has been a bit behind in terms of infrastructure, but projects like this will change the narrative,” he said.

Adewonyi further described the facility as massive and unprecedented in the locality, while offering prayers and goodwill to the founder.

“I have congratulated and prayed for the owner. God will continue to bless and elevate him. I also pray for improvement in the economy because everyone desires comfort and enjoyment. I will personally continue to promote this place,” he added.

With its impressive infrastructure and customer-focused vision, City View Bar and Lodge is poised to become a major destination for relaxation and entertainment in Ejigbo and beyond.
