CIS Adebambo hosts CMC Media Gladiators for a courtesy visit, award presentation

Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Service, Lagos State command, CIS David Oluwole Adebambo, recently hosted a distinguished delegation comprising notable figures from the media and entertainment industries.

The delegation, led by Publisher, The Gladiators Magazine and Founder of Kick Against Crime in Our Society, Ambassador Cornel Udofia, paid a courtesy visit to CIS Adebambo.

The delegation included prominent individuals such as Lady Adaobi Enekwa, Publisher of Blissful Affairs Magazine; Queen Campbell, veteran music icon; Oluchi Millicent Okafor, Chief Welfare Officer of the CMC Gladiators Group; Dr. Champion Onyekwelu, renowned news analyst; Gbenga Nelson, CEO of Dutch TV Online; and Friday Elechukwu, reporter with Lagos Television (LTV).

During the visit, the delegation formally presented an award to CIS Adebambo in recognition of his outstanding achievements, steadfast professionalism, and unwavering commitment to upholding human rights and promoting excellence in the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Ambassador Udofia commended CIS Adebambo for his exemplary service, integrity, and dedication to maintaining a high standard of integrity.

The delegation also recognized Comptroller of Immigration Service (Rtd) Abdulateef Adoga Elelu, a friend of CIS Adebambo, with a medal of honor for his meritorious services.

Other female officers in the service, including DCI MU Abang, ASI1 AA Chinyere, and ASI1 FS Keshinro, were honored for their hard work, professionalism, and dedication.

In response, CIS Adebambo expressed heartfelt appreciation to Ambassador Udofia and the entire CMC delegation for the honor. He acknowledged the vital role of the media in crime prevention and law enforcement, emphasizing the importance of sustained collaboration between the Nigeria Immigration Service and media professionals.

CIS Adebambo also took the opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nanna Nandap, for allowing him to serve as the Comptroller of Immigration Service, Lagos State.

CIS David Adebambo has spent over 32 years in the Nigeria Immigration Service and is set to retire in June 2025. The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nanna Nandap, was appointed by President Tinubu on March 1, 2024, and her tenure was extended through December 31, 2026.
