CAGraM congratulates Elemona of Ilemona on Lens University approval

Southwest leadership of the Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGraM) has congratulated His Royal Highness, Oba Nurudeen Alowonle Yusuf, Fiwadade, Ilufemiloye, Oyekanmi II, and the people of Ilemona on the approval of Lens University, Ilemona by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

National Chairman of the Southwest leadership of CAGraM, Hon. Kolawole Okedara, praised the Elemona’s leadership and vision, which have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.

Okedara offered a heartfelt prayer for the prosperity of Ilemona and its people, praying that the university would be a source of blessings, growth, and development for the community.

The remarkable achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts of the Elemona of Ilemona land and his community.

The university, which was among the recently approved institutions by the Federal Executive Council under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will provide opportunities for young minds to explore, discover, and develop their potential.

Lens University, Ilemona is set to commence full academic activities with 19 programmes, 15 departments, and 3 faculties, including the Faculty of Science and Computing, Faculty of Management and Social Science, and Faculty of Basic Medical and Allied Health Science [1).

The institution will serve as a hub for academic excellence, research, and innovation, attracting scholars, entrepreneurs, and investors from far and wide.
