BJAN sets stage for industry leaders, analysts at Dec. 6 conference

Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria (BJAN) is set to host its annual brands and marketing conference, bringing together stakeholders and seasoned analysts in the integrated marketing communications sector.

Scheduled to take place on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference promises to be a hub for insightful discussions and exploration of the latest trends in the industry.

Chairman of Odu’a Group of Companies, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, will deliver the keynote address at this year’s conference, with the theme, “Rebuilding consumer confidence: Addressing policy impact and market realities”, which is the 12th edition of the series.

Some of the issues from the keynote presentation will be further dissected by brand experts and analysts lined up as panelists.

These include , CEO of Absolute PR,Akonte Ekine; Corporate Communications/Public Affairs Manager, Nestle Nigeria, Victoria Uwadoka, and Partner, CMC Connect LLP, Adetola Odusote.

Others are a Media Personality, Amanda Madubuko, and CEO of Digisplash, Damola Salvador.

Organised annually by the body of journalists in the marketing communications industry, the conference is a flagship event focusing on key issues in the Nigerian integrated marketing communications industry and beyond.

BJAN Chairman, Clara Okoro, noted that this year’s conference will focus on the imperatives of how government policies such as interest rate adjustments, tax policies, and subsidy removal influence disposable income and consumer spending as well as how brands can pivot their strategies to maintain relevance and profitability in an environment of economic pressure and policy-induced constraints.
