An Islamic human rights organization, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has congratulated Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami who recently bagged a new appointment under the African Union (AU) as the Co-chairman of the African Scientific Research and Innovation Council (AU-ASRIC).
In the congratulatory message signed by the Executive Director of the group, Professor Ishaq Akintola, they rejoiced with Professor Pantami for proving his mettle once again and referred to him as a worthy ambassador and a model per excellence for the youths.
“We have always known that Pantami will go places. This man is loaded. He is a worthy ambassador of Nigeria and a model per excellence for our youths. Whereas some doubting Thomases and agent provocateur saw nothing good in him when he was serving here as the Minister of Communications and Digital Planning, Pantami has now been elevated to continental level. Their pull-him-down-syndrome (PhD) did not work on him.
“This is a very important appointment. Pantami will now be crafting the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) Policy and Strategy for the whole of Africa and the policy is expected to impact all the 54 countries on the African continent.
“It is our hope that Nigerians will learn one or two lessons from the rise of Pantami. Nigerians are immensely talented people but neither the people themselves nor the leaders appreciate what they have. Let us believe in our country. Let us have faith and confidence in ourselves and our true greatness will be realized.
“We congratulate Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami and wish him success in his new portfolio,” he star
