South-East chapter, All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended the Federal Commissioner representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Peter Ogbonna Eze, for what it described as his exemplary leadership, effective representation and outstanding contributions to inclusive governance and national development.

The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the APC National Vice Chairman (South-East), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, under the party’s “Spotlight on Exceptional Young Progressives” initiative, which recognises young leaders whose dedication to public service and notable accomplishments continue to inspire hope and strengthen democratic governance.

Arodiogbu said Eze had distinguished himself as one of the emerging progressive leaders in the South-East through his commitment to fairness, professionalism, accountability and national unity.

According to him, the Federal Commissioner has continued to advance the principles of equitable representation while making meaningful contributions to institutional development in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He noted that Eze’s leadership had been characterised by constructive stakeholder engagement, support for youth participation in governance and initiatives aimed at promoting equal opportunities for Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic, religious or regional backgrounds.

The APC leader added that Eze’s dedication to strengthening public institutions and promoting inclusive governance reflected the core values of the ruling party.

Arodiogbu further observed that beyond his constitutional responsibilities at the Federal Character Commission, Eze had continued to inspire young Nigerians by demonstrating that public office should be viewed as a platform for service, nation-building and the creation of opportunities for others.

He also acknowledged the Federal Commissioner’s contributions to grassroots development and youth empowerment, as well as his efforts to promote economic diplomacy, particularly through initiatives designed to deepen Nigeria’s international partnerships.

The South-East APC National Vice Chairman described Eze’s record of service as an example of the positive impact young people can make when given the opportunity to contribute to public administration and national development.

He said the recognition was part of the party’s broader effort to identify and celebrate young progressive leaders whose character, competence and commitment to public service were contributing to the growth of democracy and the advancement of the country.

“The South-East APC is proud to identify with Hon. Peter Ogbonna Eze. His integrity, competence, patriotism, and commitment to service exemplify the quality of leadership our nation requires.

“His achievements reaffirm our confidence in the capacity of young progressive leaders to drive sustainable development and strengthen national cohesion,” the statement read.

The party maintained that effective representation at institutions such as the Federal Character Commission remained critical to ensuring fairness and inclusivity in the distribution of opportunities across Nigeria.

It said the principles of equitable representation and equal opportunity were essential to fostering a sense of belonging among citizens and strengthening confidence in public institutions.

The APC South-East therefore reaffirmed its commitment to recognising and celebrating exceptional young progressives whose vision, character and dedication continue to promote good governance and inspire the next generation of leaders.

The party said it remained committed to supporting initiatives that would contribute to building a stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria, while encouraging young Nigerians to embrace leadership, public service and nation-building.

It expressed confidence that the contributions of leaders such as Eze would continue to encourage greater youth participation in governance and promote the values of fairness, accountability, inclusivity and national cohesion across the country.
