Advantage Health Africa CEO, Adebakin, named ‘Hero of Our Time’

Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Advantage Health Africa, Ms. Abimbola Adebakin, has been honoured as a “Hero of Our Time” in recognition of her outstanding contributions to healthcare innovation and system strengthening in Nigeria.

A distinguished Nigerian pharmacist, healthcare entrepreneur, and business executive, Adebakin was recognised for her impactful role in advancing healthcare delivery, promoting innovation in the health sector, and expanding access to quality pharmaceutical services across the country.

The honour, presented by The Mirror Newspaper, celebrates her exceptional leadership and sustained contributions to public health advancement, social innovation, and improved healthcare delivery systems in Nigeria.

Through her visionary leadership, Ms. Adebakin has continued to address critical gaps in healthcare access, particularly in underserved and vulnerable communities.

Her work has helped to improve efficiency and equity in the delivery of healthcare services nationwide.

As the head of Advantage Health Africa, she has built a strong platform focused on advancing healthcare solutions, strengthening pharmaceutical distribution networks, and promoting equitable access to essential medicines.

She is expected to be formally honoured at the forthcoming Mirror Newspaper National Conference and Award Ceremony, scheduled for 23rd April, 2026, at the LCCI Conference & Exhibition Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
