Maureen Ifada, one of Nigeria’s foremost marketing professionals and Marketing Director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, has been reappointed as a judge for the 2026 International Content Marketing Awards (ICMA), further cementing her reputation as one of Africa’s leading voices in global marketing and brand strategy.

The appointment marks her second consecutive year on the judging panel of the prestigious awards, highlighting her growing international influence and recognition for excellence in marketing, branding and content strategy.

Organised by the Content Marketing Association (CMA), the International Content Marketing Awards celebrate outstanding achievements in content marketing by recognising exceptional campaigns, agencies, brands and professionals that have demonstrated innovation, creativity, strategic excellence and measurable business impact.

As a member of the 2026 jury, Ifada will join an elite panel of internationally acclaimed marketing experts responsible for assessing entries from across the globe and identifying the year’s most outstanding content marketing initiatives.

Her latest appointment adds to an impressive portfolio of global jury roles secured within the last two years. Since making her debut as an ICMA judge in 2025, she has also been appointed to serve on the judging panels for the 2026 ECHO Awards, the 2026 SABRE Awards EMEA, and the 2026 Native Advertising Awards.

The multiple international appointments place Ifada among a select group of African marketing professionals helping to shape global standards and best practices in marketing communications, branding and content excellence.

Industry observers say the appointments reflect her growing international profile and acknowledge her track record of developing innovative marketing strategies that have consistently driven business growth, strengthened brand equity and delivered measurable commercial results.

Beyond her international recognition, Ifada has continued to receive accolades for her outstanding contributions to the marketing profession. She was named Marketing Director of the Year at the 2025 Brand Handlers Awards and received the Outstanding Marketing Amazon of the Year honour from Marketing Edge.

She has also been recognised among WIMCA’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Marketing and Communications in Nigeria, a testament to her leadership, innovation and impact on the country’s marketing industry.

With more than two decades of distinguished service at FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, Ifada has played a central role in building and sustaining some of Nigeria’s most iconic consumer brands, including Peak Milk and Three Crowns Milk. Her consumer-centric approach, strategic vision and commitment to innovation have positioned these brands for sustained growth while earning widespread industry recognition.

Her reappointment to the 2026 International Content Marketing Awards jury is widely regarded as another milestone for Nigeria’s marketing industry, reflecting the increasing global recognition of African professionals and the continent’s expanding influence in shaping international conversations on marketing, branding and content excellence.

The development also reinforces Nigeria’s growing reputation as a source of world-class marketing talent, with professionals such as Maureen Ifada continuing to make significant contributions to global industry leadership while inspiring the next generation of marketing practitioners across Africa.
