TKHC changing lives through faith, unity, community impact

At a time when many people are searching for hope, purpose and a genuine sense of belonging, The King’s Heritage Church (TKHC) has continued to stand out as a beacon of transformation, love and unity in Lagos State.

Under the leadership of Pastor Lawrence Onochie and Pastor Josephine Onochie, the church has built a thriving faith community committed to changing lives through the undiluted Word of God and practical demonstrations of love.

With its headquarters located in Ogba, Ikeja, alongside branches in Obawole and Idimu, TKHC has evolved beyond being merely a place of worship. For many worshippers, it has become a spiritual home where people from different backgrounds, cultures and walks of life find acceptance, healing, purpose and direction.

At the heart of the ministry is a clear vision: “Taking people from the backside to the front side by making their lives outstanding with the undiluted Word of God.”

This vision, according to church leaders, is reflected not only in the messages preached from the pulpit but also in the numerous lives transformed through discipleship, outreach programmes and community development initiatives.

Known for his practical teachings, passion for discipleship and commitment to raising purpose-driven believers, Pastor Lawrence Onochie has continued to build a ministry centered on spiritual transformation, relevance and kingdom influence.

Through his leadership, members say the church has cultivated an atmosphere where individuals are empowered to grow spiritually while becoming impactful in their personal lives, careers and communities.

One of the defining characteristics of TKHC is its emphasis on love in action.
Every December, through its Adullam Communion of Ministers (ACOM) initiative, the church provides food supplies and relief materials to over 100 pastors, especially during periods of economic hardship.

The initiative, according to the church, reflects its belief that the body of Christ is one and that ministry should transcend denominational boundaries.

Beyond welfare support, the church remains actively involved in medical outreaches, empowerment programmes and skill acquisition initiatives designed to improve livelihoods and strengthen families within its host communities.

A major part of the church’s vision is also reflected in the RAVE Community, the vibrant youth expression of TKHC dedicated to raising spiritually grounded and purpose-driven young people.

Built on the principles of being discipleship-driven, nations-focused and apostolic in nature, RAVE has become a thriving platform where young people encounter God, discover purpose, build leadership capacity and establish meaningful relationships.

Speaking on the impact of the youth ministry, Pastor Lawrence Onochie stressed that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive within a value-driven and supportive environment that inspires excellence, growth and purpose.

According to him, many members have come to see the church experience as more than weekly worship services, describing TKHC as a family where lives are rebuilt, destinies awakened, and hope restored.

He explained that through intentional community building, sound biblical teaching and a strong culture of service, the church continues to create an atmosphere where people can genuinely encounter God and become all they were created to be.

“As the ministry continues to grow across Lagos and beyond, TKHC remains committed to raising transformed lives, strengthening communities and demonstrating the transformative power of love, unity and faith in action,” he said.

“In an ever-evolving world, the church and the RAVE Community continue to inspire hope, proving that when people come together with a shared purpose rooted in God’s love, lasting change becomes inevitable,” he added.
