Ahmed Aliyu Joda joins The Mirror as North West Bureau Chief

Joda, a media entrepreneur and Founder/CEO of RBS & Groups, brings a wealth of experience in reporting, research, and strategic communications. Known for his ability to produce well-researched and compelling stories under pressure, he has built a reputation for delivering accurate and timely reports across business, policy, and development sectors.

In his new role, Joda will oversee editorial operations in the North West, with a focus on delivering impactful stories that reflect the socio-economic realities of the region.

His work spans stakeholder reporting, partnership development, and policy analysis, with a strong track record of engaging key decision-makers and diaspora networks.

He has also demonstrated deep knowledge of regional economic activities, including Kano and Lagos business trends, Nigeria–India trade relations, and the growing Hajj and Umrah travel sector.

His recent work contributed to securing a pilot collaboration with Dar Al Eiman Travel and Tour Ltd ahead of the July 2026 rollout.

Joda is recognized for his digital-first approach to journalism, leveraging platforms such as WhatsApp, X, and Instagram to amplify stories while maintaining editorial accuracy and integrity.
