Celebrating Excellence: Biblical Scholars Forum honors distinguished individuals

Biblical Scholars Forum of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, in collaboration with St. Peter’s Seminary, Enugu, recently organized a Conferment of Fellowship Awards and Fund Raising ceremony at the Institute of African Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

The event was attended by esteemed guests, including the Pro-Chancellor of Evangel University, Ebonyi State, and General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Nigeria, Rev. Prof. Paul Emeka.

Other notable attendees included, Chairman of the Board of Council, St. Peter’s Seminary, Enugu, Rt. Rev. Omaka Kalu Ngele and Ven. Prof. Collins I. Ugwu, who delivered the second keynote speech.

The ceremony honored three distinguished individuals with Fellowship Awards. They include, Group Managing Director of Adama Group of Companies, Mr. Jonas Mmaduabuchi Nwokoye, known for his philanthropic endeavors; a US-based businessman and founder of the Sir C.C. Onyeeze Humanitarian Foundation; Sir Chidi Charles Onyeeze and a banker, politician, and stakeholder in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Chief Mrs. Ify Ugo-Okoye.

The event celebrated the contributions of these individuals to society, recognizing their commitment to philanthropy, leadership, and community development.

According to the Rector of St. Peter’s Seminary, Enugu, Dr. Prince Emma Peters, the theme “Let’s Arise and Build” resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in shaping a better future. The ceremony served as a platform for networking, inspiration, and motivation, encouraging attendees to strive for excellence in their respective fields.”
