IAWPA honour Miss Okolie with International Youth Peace Advocate Award 2025


As part of efforts to celebrate her talent, the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), Anambra Chapter, has honoured Miss Chikamso Deborah Okolie (Kam Debbie), with the International Youth Peace Advocate Award 2025.
She was honoured in recognition of her outstanding contributions to peacebuilding and youth empowerment.
The ceremony which took place in Agu-Awka, Anambra State, brought dignitaries such as His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, and other prominent leaders in attendance.
Deborah was born and raised in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. Although she spent her early years there, she is originally from Ihioma in the Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State.
The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) is a world-class organization with United Nations ECOSOC Special Consultative Status since 2019.
The organization aimed to promote peace, sustainable development, and youth empowerment globally.
The event is aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlights the importance of recognizing and rewarding individuals who contribute to peacebuilding and community development.
