50 participants complete ISO 9001:2015 Certification training in Kaduna

Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with King-Fahji Nigeria Limited, has successfully concluded a five-day intensive training programme on Quality Auditing and ISO 9001:2015 Certification, equipping 50 participants in Kaduna State with globally recognised quality management skills.

The training, which was held from July 27 to July 31, 2026, was organised to strengthen indigenous capacity in Quality Management Systems (QMS) while preparing Nigerian professionals to implement international best practices in quality assurance, internal auditing and organisational performance improvement.

Throughout the programme, participants received extensive training on the core requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System standard.

The sessions covered critical areas including Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation and Improvement, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of quality management principles.

The curriculum also featured practical modules on risk-based thinking, process approach, quality documentation, internal audit techniques, management of nonconformities, corrective actions and the complete ISO 9001:2015 certification process.

To ensure effective learning and practical application, the organisers adopted an interactive training methodology that combined expert-led lectures, case studies, group discussions, role-playing exercises and simulated audit sessions.

Participants also underwent pre-training and post-training assessments to evaluate knowledge acquisition and measure the effectiveness of the programme.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer of King-Fahji Nigeria Limited, Mr. Idi Presley, commended the participants for their dedication, enthusiasm and active engagement throughout the week-long programme.

He noted that the practical nature of the training was designed to ensure participants not only understood the theoretical foundations of quality management but also acquired practical tools and techniques that could be immediately deployed within their respective organisations.

According to him, strengthening local expertise in quality management aligns with the broader objective of improving operational standards across industries while enhancing the competitiveness of Nigerian businesses in both local and international markets.

Participants expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board and King-Fahji Nigeria Limited for providing the opportunity to enhance their professional skills. They described the training as timely, practical and impactful, noting that the knowledge acquired would enable them to improve quality systems, enhance operational efficiency and support their organisations in achieving internationally accepted standards.

As part of the programme, each of the 50 participants received a comprehensive starter pack comprising a laptop computer, branded materials, training manuals, financial support and certificates of participation.

The successful completion of the training underscores the commitment of the NCDMB and King-Fahji Nigeria Limited to developing competent Nigerian professionals capable of driving quality excellence, promoting continual improvement and supporting sustainable growth across key sectors of the nation’s economy.
