Lagos State Government has taken another significant step in its efforts to drive economic growth, reduce poverty, and improve the living standards of citizens with the disbursement of the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) funds across the 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs)/37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state.

The disbursement ceremony, which was held at the Iba Town Hall in Ojo Local Government Area, was attended by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Wealth Creation and Employment, Amb. Comr. Tijani Saheed Oluwadare (Seedorf), who represented the Lagos State Government.

In his address to the recipients, Amb. Comr. Tijani Saheed Oluwadare encouraged the beneficiaries to have a positive mindset and not to be swayed by negative skepticism surrounding government initiatives.

He applauded the collaborative efforts of the three tiers of government and the meticulous handling of the initiative by the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, led by Hon. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe and Esv. Wasiu Olayinka Adebayo.

The Renewed Hope CCT program, which is aimed at providing financial relief to citizens, will provide a monthly stipend of N25,000 to beneficiaries for three months.

The programme is part of the Federal Government’s initiative, spearheaded by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to improve the living standards of citizens and drive economic growth.

Amb. Comr. Tijani Saheed Oluwadare expressed pride in being part of the administration’s efforts to drive economic growth, reduce poverty, and improve the living standards of citizens.

He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the funds and to continue to support the government’s efforts to improve their lives.

The disbursement of the Renewed Hope CCT funds is a testament to the Lagos State Government’s commitment to poverty reduction and economic growth.

The program is expected to make a significant impact on the lives of citizens and contribute to the overall development of the state.
