We will work round clock for Tinubu, Akpabio, Umo Eno’s victory — Southern Coalition

Akpabioism Centre for Leadership Development has joined forces with the Southern Coalition for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure the successful re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Godswill Akpabio, and Umo Eno in the 2027 general elections.

The Chancellor of the Akpabioism Centre for Leadership Development and National Coordinator of the Southern Coalition for President Tinubu’s re-election, Pastor Bassey James, disclosed this over the weekend during a press briefing with journalists in Lagos.

According to him, both organizations have already worked out modalities for effective collaboration and strategic engagement aimed at mobilizing support for the re-election of President Tinubu and other key political leaders aligned with the coalition.

He stated that the resolve of the groups is driven by what he described as President Tinubu’s sincerity and commitment toward addressing Nigeria’s numerous economic and developmental challenges.

“We have arrived at an understanding to ensure the seamless return of Mr President to Aso Rock in 2027. The President has shown unparalleled commitment in tackling the economic woes facing Nigeria, and Nigerians are already beginning to witness positive changes,” Pastor James stated.

He also commended Senate President Godswill Akpabio for what he described as outstanding leadership at the National Assembly, noting that the cordial relationship between the executive and legislative arms of government has contributed significantly to national progress.

“I want to acknowledge the wonderful performance so far posted by Senator Godswill Akpabio as Senate President. The synergy and harmonious working relationship between the executive and legislative arms is one of the reasons the country is making progress,” he added.

Speaking further, Pastor James praised Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State for his developmental strides through the ARISE Agenda initiative, stating that the administration has brought development across different parts of the state.

“Governor Umo Eno has, through the ARISE Agenda, spread development across every nook and cranny of the state. The people are happy, and we will work round the clock to ensure his seamless re-election. His milestones in governance are unparalleled,” he said.

The coalition leader further revealed plans for aggressive grassroots mobilization, rallies, sensitization campaigns, and door-to-door engagement across Southern Nigeria and other parts of the country ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, the immediate target is to mobilize millions of Nigerians with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to support the All Progressives Congress and its candidates.

“Our target in the interim is to mobilize millions of Nigerians with voters cards. We have foot soldiers across every nook and cranny of the country. Akpabioism Ambassadors are in virtually every country of the world and remain one of the biggest NGOs with members both in Nigeria and the diaspora,” he stated.

Pastor James assured President Tinubu, Senate President Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno that members of both organizations would continue to spread awareness about what they described as positive achievements of their administrations.

“We want to assure Mr President, the Senate President, and our governor that the teeming members of Akpabioism Centre and Southern Coalition will traverse every part of Southern Nigeria to promote the positive changes taking place under their administrations and secure massive support for their re-election,” he added.

He disclosed that the coalition had already commenced consultations and sensitization visits across several states in preparation for what he described as a massive political outreach ahead of 2027.
