Tragedy strikes Jigawa Governor’s family: Son dies in auto crash

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State over the tragic death of his eldest son, Abdulwahab Namadi, in an auto crash.

According to the Director General
Media and Publicity Government House, Kano, Sunusi Bature DawakinTofa, the devastating incident occurred just a day after the governor mourned the passing of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi.

Governor Yusuf described the loss as a tremendous tragedy, not only for the Namadi family but for Jigawa State and the entire region.

He praised Abdulwahab for his dedication to community progress and development, noting that he had a bright future ahead.

Abdulwahab will be laid to rest in Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, following Islamic rites.

Governor Yusuf offered prayers for Allah’s mercy on the deceased and strength for the bereaved family.

“This is a deeply sorrowful moment for Jigawa State. I pray that Almighty Allah grants Abdulwahab eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and comforts the Namadi family and the people of Jigawa during this trying period,” Yusuf said.
