Sternfield College honours pioneer graduates, celebrates new chapter of excellence

Sternfield College has recorded a major milestone in its history with the graduation of its Pioneer SS3 Set, Class of 2026, marking the successful completion of the school’s first senior secondary graduating class since its establishment in 2022.

The colourful ceremony, held in Lagos, attracted parents, guardians, teachers, guests and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate what many described as a defining moment in the school’s journey.

The event reflected years of dedication, resilience, academic excellence and unwavering commitment to raising future leaders.

Adorned in a magnificent gold theme, the venue radiated elegance and excitement as graduating students appeared in beautiful shades of gold alongside parents, teachers and guests dressed in matching colours.

The golden décor symbolised excellence, honour, victory and the bright future awaiting the graduating students, while cameras captured memorable moments of celebration, family reunions and joyful embraces among classmates.

The ceremony commenced with prayers and thanksgiving to God for His guidance and protection throughout the students’ six-year academic journey.

Various speeches highlighted the remarkable growth of the institution and the determination of the Pioneer Set in overcoming challenges to reach this historic milestone.

In an emotional valedictory address, the outgoing Head Girl reflected on the friendships built, valuable lessons learned, discipline instilled by the college and the shared experiences that shaped the graduating class.

Other students also expressed profound appreciation to God, their parents, teachers and the school management for their unwavering support, encouragement and sacrifices throughout their academic journey.

One of the highlights of the event was the symbolic Passing of the Baton ceremony, during which the outgoing Head Boy formally handed over leadership responsibilities to the newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl.

The exercise underscored the school’s commitment to continuity, responsible leadership and the nurturing of future global citizens.

Addressing the graduates, the Principal congratulated the Pioneer Set for making history and urged them to remain ambassadors of the college by upholding the values of integrity, discipline, excellence and hard work in all their future endeavours.
