Death of a loved one is always a poignant moment, and for the National Vice Chairman of the South West, Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGRAM), Hon. Okedara Kolawole, the loss of his mother, late Asabi Oluwayemisi Okedara, has been an emotionally challenging chapter in his life. l

Speaking with The Mirror, at the 8-day prayers of late Asabi Oluwayemisi Okedara, he lamented over his mother, who passed away after a period of illness, and was laid to rest in a somber yet dignified ceremony that brought together family, friends, and political associates in a show of solidarity and respect for the late matriarch.

The 8-day prayer held in the serene town of Akesan in Alimosho local government area was attended by several high-profile personalities, including prominent political figures, religious leaders, and well-wishers from various parts of the state.

The atmosphere was one of deep reflection, love, and support as mourners came to pay their last respects to a woman whose legacy transcends her familial ties.

The late mother of Hon. Okedara Kolawole was known for her unwavering faith, nurturing spirit, and remarkable resilience.

Throughout her life, she was a pillar of support not only to her immediate family but also to the broader community. Her contributions to local development, her dedication to charity work, and her role in guiding her children, particularly Hon. Okedara, were acknowledged by many during the service.
