Soludo’s road revolution: Anambra transformation continues with new projects

Governor Charles Soludo’s administration has made significant strides in transforming Anambra State’s infrastructure, particularly in road construction.

The completion of several road projects has improved connectivity, boosted economic activities, and enhanced the quality of life for residents.

The 10.3 km Isuaniocha-Urum-Amanuke-Achalla Road, which links 10 communities in Awka North Local Government Area to their headquarters, Achalla, has been delivered for the first time since the creation of the state. Before now, residents in the 10 communities had to travel through five other local government areas to reach Achalla.

According to George Umeh, a community leader, Isuaniocha, “No government has been this thoughtful and impacted the people with developmental projects like Soludo. He’s truly the Mr Solution”.

Under Governor Soludo’s administration, Anambra State has undergone major infrastructural development and transformation, with an avalanche of projects in key sectors of the economy. One recently constructed project is the double-lane Okpuno Road in Awka, with drainage on both sides and solar-powered street lights.

The Club Road junction, Awka, is another place that has just been transformed and now features a roundabout. This gives the state capital a facelift with modern facilities, in addition to the numerous projects delivered over the three years of Governor Soludo’s administration.

The execution and completion of roads in the state is part of the ongoing road revolution by Soludo’s government, intended to unite the communities in Anambra state into one large, smart megacity.

According to the State’s Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, Governor Soludo’s efforts through these projects have proven the critical difference between lofty plans and concrete achievements.

Soludo’s efforts have been receiving commendation from indigenes of the state in Nigeria and the diaspora, as evident during the recent town hall meetings held in Lagos, Abuja, and in the United Kingdom.

The governor has also made significant developments in other sectors of the state, namely health, education, security, human capital development, innovation, and agriculture, among others, to make Anambra a state of attraction and an economic hub in the country.
