SCOAN: Evelyn Joshua celebrates 57th birthday, promises worshippers spiritual rebirth

Leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Pastor Evelyn Joshua, on Wednesday celebrated her 57th birthday, promising spiritual rebirth for SCOAN worshippers and continued growth of the church.

The celebration, held at the church in Ikotun, Lagos, drew warm tributes from church members, Christian leaders, and admirers across Nigeria and beyond.

It further reports that the thanksgiving event, organised to thank God for the gift of life of the SCOAN leader, featured praise sessions and the presentation of gifts to the celebrant.

Joshua, fondly known among worshippers as “The Woman in the Synagogue,” has continued to play a central role in sustaining the spiritual, humanitarian, and global outreach of SCOAN, earning widespread admiration.

Following the passing of her husband and founder of SCOAN, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua), the woman of God has remained resolute in her leadership of the church.

Speaking at the event, Evelyn Joshua said SCOAN would continue to attract worshippers from different parts of the world through divine intervention and visitation.

She reaffirmed that the church would maintain its long-standing emphasis on prayer, faith, and charity.

According to her, the 57th anniversary represents a beacon of spiritual rebirth for the church, its members, and the nation of Nigeria.

“With support from Emmanuel TV partners, which is divinely directed, the church will widen its scope of evangelism to restore peace and hope to the poor,” she said.

Also speaking at the event, a senior member of the church, Mr. Evans Jato, described Evelyn Joshua as “a woman of deep prayer, humility, and unwavering trust in God.”

“She leads quietly but firmly. Her focus has always been on prayer, service, and compassion, not personal attention,” he said.

Another worshipper noted that her leadership style reflects continuity rather than change.

“She did not come to reinvent the church but to preserve its spiritual foundation. That consistency has brought reassurance to members,” the worshipper added.
