Primate Ayodele warns of Senator’s assassination, foresees turmoil in Nigerian politics

Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has warned the Nigerian Senate to be watchful and prayerful against the assassination of a top senator.

Primate Ayodele gave the prophetic warning on Sunday, September 28, 2025, while speaking to journalists in Lagos.

He said the Senate as a whole must pray, even as he warned against the consequences of not praying to avert the mayhem.

He said such an assassination would bring a black moment in the Senate.

He said, “A top senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be assassinated. Let the Senate pray for all of these to be averted.

“If they don’t pray, a top senator will be assassinated, which is going to bring a black moment in the Senate. Let the Senate watch out on this and let them pray very well,” he reiterated.
