Peaceful Eid-El-Kabir: CP Dantawaye charges officers to ensure crime-free celebrations

As Muslims across Kogi State prepare to celebrate the Eid-El-Kabir festivities, the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim faithful.
In a bid to ensure a peaceful and crime-free celebration, CP Dantawaye has ordered improved security measures across the state.
The police command has been directed to deploy personnel and operational assets to major highways, places of worship, residential areas, and other critical infrastructure.
“Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, and Divisional Police Officers have been tasked with conducting comprehensive visibility policing to deter crime and build confidence. The police will conduct undercover operations to identify criminal hideouts, black spots, and flashpoints.
CP Dantawaye has appealed to the public to report any suspicious activities or objects to the nearest security formation.

CP Dantawaye has assured the law-abiding people of Kogi State that the police command is determined to ensure their safety during the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
