PDP towards 2027: If Obi leaves Labour Party, Obidients will not follow him

There was this recent discussion I ran into. The topic and problem is, a woman whose husband is still alive presenting herself as a widow, each time  widows are invited by well to do people in the community.

It is a serious matter that the elders in the community have taken notice of, and decided to look into.

Now what is the problem ? Maybe the economy; or the woman needs to be interviewed to ascertain what has gone wrong. Or she wants to remarry. So many questions her actions until the woman reveals what nobody including the elders in the community knew about her condition .

What is the condition of  Peoples’  Demorcatic Party (PDP) after 2015? Anybody who has taken time to review the state of PDP since 1999, will agree with me that those that destroyed PDP and made it the ‘orphan ‘ today are politicians and retired military men, that contributed nothing to its formation and stability, to the extent that at a time, it was as solid as a rock.

Those people came when the food is ready, benefited from its tastiness, and tried to push out those that formed the party using ethnic and religious poison to set confusion in it, and made sure what should go to the right person, didn’t get to him.

They did it to Dr. Alex Ekwueme,  Dr, Goodluck Jonathan and made once a great party, a  party that has become so offensive that in the 2023 election, that PDP could hardly get  one vote in some  polling units.

I must mention, this is no exaggeration to highlight a point. Its real because I was the general supervisor in my constituency.

Now that they have used toxic ethnic and religious venom to scatter PDP, thinking they are doing the Igbos because Dr Alex Ekwueme is Igbo, they also say Jonathan is  an Igbo man.

Those that are romancing with Peter Obi now, will soon know that  he is an  Igbo man when he wins again, and want to take his place as president.

Another of that is what happened after the 2023 election, which was facilitated by Mohammed Buhari because of his caustic hatred for the Igbos in connivance with  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), judiciary and security agencies, particularly the police; was an open shame that will remain fresh as long as Nigeria exists.

The people in PDP who want  Obi to cross over to PDP should explain what he will do in a party that has not purged itself of enemies of fairness, respect for diversity, love, and live and let others leave .

This is prophesy 101.

If some paid agents in Labour Party  are creating problems, and he can’t contain their nuisance value, its better for him to go and form a fresh party.

The Obidients movement will go with him, and leave Labour party for those trouble makers to go and face their defeat in next election.

Before then, the conversion of INEC and the judiciary to antidemocratic public institutions by Mohammed Buhari must also be reversed, reformed and restructured to serve Nigerians, not to be only for people in the so called political parties, that have the dollars to buy INEC Chairmen and their extension in the Judiciary.

The worst mistake His Excellency Peter Obi will make, is to elope to any other party that has been in existence since 1999.

He should not forget that those that worked against Ekwueme, Jonathan and their vestiges, are still alive and in that party.

They think Peter Obi will lure the Obidients movement to another party. No, they will not follow him to any existing party in Nigeria.

This is because the thinking and psychology of the Obidients movement, are different from any political parties, and they are sure of where they stand.
