Charles Okocha reclaimed bragging rights over street-pop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, after emerging victorious in the much-anticipated celebrity boxing rematch, Chaos in the Ring, powered by Fearless Energy Drink, the flagship energy drink brand of Rite Foods Limited.
The blockbuster event, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, attracted an impressive gathering of celebrities, boxing enthusiasts, entertainment lovers and hundreds of fans eager to witness another chapter in one of Nigeria’s most talked-about celebrity rivalries.
Tagged “Unfinished Business,” the highly publicised rematch rekindled the rivalry that first captivated audiences in December 2023. Expectations were high for an intense battle between the two entertainers, but the contest took an unexpected twist when Portable walked out of the ring during the opening round, resulting in his disqualification and handing Charles Okocha a dramatic victory.
The bout had already produced moments of high tension after Portable floored Okocha with a wrestling-style takedown, prompting immediate intervention from the referee and security officials.
Although Portable later returned to argue that the move should have secured him victory, officials ruled that his actions violated the rules governing the contest and upheld Okocha’s win.
The dramatic conclusion sparked excitement among spectators, who applauded the event for its electrifying atmosphere and entertaining blend of sports and showmanship.
Beyond the headline contest, Chaos in the Ring featured several exciting professional and celebrity boxing matches that showcased the growing appeal of combat sports in Nigeria. Basit “Joker Boy” Adebayo, Yusuf Adeniji, Suleiman Jafaru, Michael Babalola and Shiloh “Sugar Shy” Defreitas all delivered outstanding performances to record victories in their respective bouts.
The successful event further demonstrated the increasing commercial potential of boxing and combat sports as a platform for entertainment, youth engagement and brand visibility.
Fearless Energy Drink played a central role in the success of the event as its official energy drink sponsor, reaffirming its commitment to promoting boldness, resilience and excellence through strategic partnerships in sports and entertainment.
Speaking on the sponsorship, the Brand Manager of Fearless Energy Drink at Rite Foods Limited, Olaniyi Aderuku, described the partnership as a reflection of the brand’s dedication to supporting initiatives that inspire courage, confidence and determination among Nigerians.
According to him, Chaos in the Ring aligns perfectly with the values represented by Fearless Energy Drink, offering consumers memorable experiences while encouraging them to embrace challenges and pursue their dreams without fear.

He noted that the sponsorship embodies the brand’s “I CAN, I AM” philosophy, which motivates individuals to overcome obstacles, push beyond limitations and pursue success with confidence and resilience.
As Nigeria’s award-winning market leader in the energy drink category, Fearless Energy Drink continues to drive innovation within the industry. The brand pioneered the introduction of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottle packaging in the energy drink segment, while its Fearless Classic and Fearless Red Berry variants are also available in cans, providing consumers with greater convenience and choice.
