Movement for Greater Nigeria (MFGN) has congratulated its leader, Comrade Hon. Kolawole Okedara, on his appointment as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Campaign Council, New Generation Directorate.
Okedara is listed among members of the New Generation Directorate of the Lagos APC Campaign Council constituted ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued by the movement’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Lebee Barididun, MFGN described the appointment as recognition of Okedara’s political engagement, grassroots activities and commitment to the party.
Barididun said Okedara’s experience in political mobilisation and engagement with grassroots stakeholders would enable him to contribute to the work of the campaign council.
“Hon. Okedara has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a unique capacity to engage and unite diverse political interests.
His appointment is a recognition of his dedication and commitment to grassroots mobilisation and political development,” the statement said.
MFGN said Okedara’s inclusion in the New Generation Directorate would provide an opportunity for him to contribute his organisational experience and ideas to the activities of the campaign council.
The movement also expressed its readiness to work with the leadership of the campaign council and other stakeholders in support of the council’s programmes and activities.
According to the statement, MFGN believes that effective grassroots engagement and constructive participation by party members are important components of political organisation and democratic processes.
The organisation consequently called on its members and supporters to support the newly constituted campaign structure and participate constructively in activities aimed at strengthening political engagement across Lagos State.
