NDYC-USA hails Paddy Iyamu’s APC Oredo Federal Constituency primary victory

Nigeria Diaspora Youth Coalition (NDYC-USA) has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu following his resounding victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oredo Federal Constituency primaries.

In a goodwill message signed by its Executive Director, Mr. Enoma Eribo, the coalition described Iyamu’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer as a strong affirmation of his resilience, visionary leadership, and long-standing commitment to public service and community development in Edo State.

According to the group, the victory reflects not only political success but also the trust and confidence reposed in him by party delegates and constituents who believe in his capacity to deliver effective and people-focused representation at the national level.

NDYC-USA noted that Dr. Iyamu’s journey from a distinguished career in the oil and gas sector, where he worked with major industry players such as Shell Petroleum Development Company and Neconde Energy Ltd, to public service stands as a model of integrity, discipline, and leadership transition.

The coalition further highlighted his contributions as Edo State Commissioner for Education and former Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), describing his tenure as impactful, reform-driven, and focused on strengthening the education sector for future generations.

It added that his leadership style has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to human capital development, institutional strengthening, and youth empowerment across Edo State.

Beyond public office, NDYC-USA commended Iyamu’s philanthropic interventions through the Dr. Paddy Foundation, noting that his initiatives in education support, widows’ empowerment, free medical outreaches, and youth development programmes have positively touched thousands of lives across communities in Edo State.

The group stated that these humanitarian efforts have further distinguished him as a leader driven by compassion and service rather than personal ambition.

“Your victory in the primaries is fitting, deserving and proper. It is not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of the confidence the people have in your capacity to deliver purposeful representation, sustainable development, and people-oriented leadership,” the statement read.

NDYC-USA expressed confidence that as Dr. Iyamu proceeds to the next stage of his political journey, he will continue to demonstrate wisdom, strength, and commitment to inclusive governance.

The coalition also prayed for divine guidance and continued success, expressing optimism that his leadership would foster unity, progress, and meaningful transformation in Oredo Federal Constituency and beyond.
