MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, a leading transport and logistics company, is proud to announce the opening of its newly upgraded office in Ghana.

This development is part of MSC’s strategic efforts to invest and have a lasting impact with its presence in West Africa and enhance intermodal transport services across the continent.

The inauguration event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Ghana’s Deputy of Minister of Transport, Honourable. Alhassan S. Tampuli. The ministry’s participation underscores the critical role of MSC’s expansion in supporting Ghana’s economic growth.

Managing Director of MSC Ghana, Cedric Goujon, reflected on the company’s growth and its commitment to the region. “Since our first MSC vessel called at the port of Tema in 2007 we have seen tremendous growth, leading to the expansion of our office space and the increase in our team size to meet the growing demands,” He further highlighted, “Today, we employ 131 staff and operate seven weekly services, handling an impressive annual volume of 190,000 TEUs. Our new office is not just an expansion—it’s a commitment to Ghana and its future.”

The office is strategically located to optimize the logistical demands and improve the efficiency of trade routes locally and internationally. This expansion will enhance MSC’s ability to support Ghanaian businesses in tapping into international markets, promoting economic development and trade diversity.

Mr. Goujon underscored the significance of this development. The new office will serve as a crucial link between Ghana and the major trade hubs worldwide. It will enable MSC to offer enhanced services and support to local and international clients, reinforcing their role in boosting Ghana’s trade capabilities.

MSC’s investment in Ghana aligns with its long-term strategy to foster economic growth and sustainability in its operating regions. The upgraded office not only provides advanced facilities but also brings MSC closer to its customers, offering true partnership and efficient services.
