IGP Egbetokun decorates newly promoted AIG Gyogon Augustine Grimah, other senior officers

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has decorated newly promoted Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Gyogon Augustine Grimah, and other senior officers.

The decoration ceremony took place at Force Headquarters, Abuja.

AIG Gyogon Augustine Grimah, who hails from Nasarawa State, has been deployed to Zone 10 Police Headquarters Sokoto as the Assistant Inspector General of Police.

He holds a BSc. Hons in Chemistry from ABU, Zaria, and a Master’s in Public Administration.

With over three decades of service in the Police Force, AIG Grimah has garnered vast knowledge and experience in Police Operations, Investigation, and Administration.

His impressive resume includes serving as Unit Commander in 27 PMF Katsina State, Staff Officer, Federal Operations, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Commissioner of Police in various state commands.

As he takes on his new role, AIG Grimah has pledged to utilize his expertise to tackle the various forms of criminality bedeviling Zone 10.

His decoration, alongside other senior officers, is a testament to the Police Force’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence and dedication.

The ceremony was attended by the wife of the promotee and other family members, who were present to support AIG Grimah as he marked this significant milestone in his career.
