Pastor Umo Eno’s remarkable achievement as the Best Performing Governor of 2025 has earned him yet another congratulatory message, this time from Isantim Churchill Udoh, Grand Patron of the Nigeria Union of Journalists Zone F, who lauded the governor’s outstanding leadership and dedication to the progress of Akwa Ibom State.

Isantim Udoh, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Westgate group, in a press statement made available to journalists, described the award as well-deserved, owing to the governor’s commitment and dedication in ensuring the strategic implementation of the ARISE Agenda blueprint for the benefit of the people.

Describing the unveiling of the two-year performance of the governor in a well-attended ceremony as a clear sign of transparent and accountable leadership, the NUJ Grand Patron called for more support and prayers to enable Umo Eno’s administration to keep doing more for the people.

He described the governor as a very compassionate and kind-hearted person, noting that he has done so much for the vulnerable people in the society through the provisions of ARISE Compassionate homes and various seed funds to start up various businesses.

He also acknowledged the various empowerment and skill acquisition packages for the youths, the provisions for the elderly people and also the empowerment of women as a testament of focused and result-oriented leadership.

Isantim Churchill Udoh further highlighted that the recent tour of the 10 federal constituencies of the state for a town square meeting by the governor, in which he massively empowered people and received their various needs to be included in the 2026 budget, was a clear sign of Populist government in the state.

Above all, he described the peace and security in the state as unequalled, calling on Nigerians to take full advantage of the enabling environment provided by Governor Umo Eno to visit, live and invest in Àkwa ibom State.

He urged the governor to remain focused and pull all necessary strings to ensure that Akwa Ibom state and her people achieve their full potential, describing the governor’s bipartisan politics and governance as a panacea to achieve maximum peace, cooperation, and Unity.
