Thousands of worshippers, ministers, dignitaries and partners from around the world gathered in Lagos on Friday, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the transition to glory in a deeply moving celebration themed, “Rejoicing With the Saints.”

Broadcast live on Emmanuel TV to a global audience, the event brought together people from diverse nations, cultures and backgrounds in honour of a man whose life, ministry and humanitarian works continue to inspire millions across the world.

Hosted by Femi Branch and Seraphine Dogbe, the anniversary celebration featured moments of worship, reflection, testimonies and tributes, as participants remembered the remarkable impact of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

Speakers and guests repeatedly emphasized that although the renowned cleric passed on five years ago, his influence remains evident through the countless lives he touched and the enduring values he championed.

The atmosphere was charged with worship as internationally acclaimed gospel artistes ministered through music.

Renowned American gospel singer led worshippers in heartfelt songs of thanksgiving, while ushering the congregation into a profound atmosphere of praise and adoration.
The celebration continued with energetic praise sessions from Zambians whose vibrant ministrations lifted spirits and heightened the celebratory mood.

Worshippers were further drawn into moments of reflection and gratitude through soul-stirring renditions by those who focused on God’s faithfulness and enduring grace.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the Conversation Corner, hosted by Vimbai Mutinhiri. The segment showcased the global reach and continuing relevance of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s ministry as distinguished guests from different continents shared personal experiences and memorable encounters with the late prophet.

Among those who paid tribute were King Willard Mswati Gormani of Malawi, Colonel Wilson from Colombia, Pastor Acosta from Argentina and Lieutenant Colonel Melo from the Dominican Republic.

Their reflections highlighted the far-reaching influence of Prophet T.B. Joshua and the lasting impression he made on political leaders, military officers, clergy and ordinary citizens around the world.

An emotional moment came with the screening of an immersive documentary chronicling the life and ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

The visual presentation traced his remarkable journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most influential Christian leaders of his generation.

The video moved many worshippers to tears as it depicted scenes celebrating his faith, dedication to God and commitment to humanity.

It also highlighted his extensive humanitarian outreach, spiritual teachings and unwavering devotion to serving others throughout his lifetime.

The anniversary celebration further spotlighted the ongoing work of the T.B. Joshua Foundation, which continues to provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable communities across different countries.

Through initiatives such as the Five Thousand Lives Initiative and The Horizon Project, the foundation has sustained the prophet’s vision of demonstrating God’s love through practical acts of compassion, charity and service.

In another touching segment, participants were invited to describe Prophet T.B. Joshua using different letters of the alphabet. The exercise painted a vivid portrait of a leader remembered for humility, wisdom, generosity, faith, compassion, integrity and steadfast commitment to the work of God.
