EKOBA celebrates 112th Founders’ Day with project commissions, memorial lecture

Eko Boys High School Old Boys Association (EKOBA) is set to celebrate the 112th Founders’ Day of Eko Boys High School in grand style.
According to the Public Relations Officer, Ekorian Temitope Oluwabiyi, as part of the celebrations, the association will commission several completed projects at the school campus in Musin, including the E’79/Adefule Gate, E’75 Pedestrian Gate/Gate House, and the E81/82 Basketball Court.
The commissioning ceremony, scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025, will have the Lagos State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Hon. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, as the Special Guest of Honour, and Mr. Lekan Falodun, Director General, Lagos State Sports Commission, as Special Guest.
The celebrations will also feature the 3rd edition of the Revd. Euba Memorial Lecture, titled “Advancement in Policing: Roles of Citizens in Community Policing and Protection.”
The lecture will be delivered by CSP Charles Akinrosoye, with a panel discussion moderated by Ekorian Rilwan ‘Bola Fashina, immediate past National President of EKOBA.
The 112th Founders’ Day celebrations will conclude with a thanksgiving service and a campus funfair, including the unveiling of miniature statues of Late Revd. W. B. Euba and Late Mr. Obadiah Roberts.
