In a bid to solidify its foothold in Ebonyi State, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has embarked on a major restructuring exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Chairman of the party in the state, Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha, announced this on Monday at a stakeholders’ meeting in Abakaliki.
The Mirror reports that the gathering brought together key party members and leaders.
Okoro-Emegha said the meeting was aimed at assessing the party’s performance and preparedness for the new registration exercise.
He expressed the confidence that the party would register all eligible members in the state, given its strong presence.
He said, “The registration portal has opened, allowing people to register from the comfort of their homes.
“The link will be shared with all ward chairmen, who will commence registration immediately.
The APC stakeholders’ meeting demonstrates the party’s commitment to working together to achieve its goals and objectives in Ebonyi State.
“The meeting and the new registration drive are seen as significant steps towards promoting the party’s agenda and consolidating its position in the state.”
