Ebie: Serving his people, amplifying Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda

A socio-political pressure group based in Agbor, Delta State, under the aegis of GCON Media, has commended, Chairman of the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chiedu Ebie, for using his position to advance the vision and policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group noted with delight that under Ebie’s leadership, the NDDC has recorded unprecedented socio-economic, infrastructural, and human capital development, particularly within Ika Federal Constituency, his home base.

According to the group, Ebie’s track record of excellence predates his current appointment. “Long before becoming NDDC Chairman, he had exhibited sterling leadership qualities — doggedness, integrity, tenacity of purpose, teamwork, result orientation, patriotism, and a deep capacity for delivery,” the statement read.

“His quality leadership trajectory is the reason he commands a cult-like following in Ika land. He gave a good account of himself when he held crucial and strategic positions in the immediate past government of Delta state, so we are not surprised that he continued on that same trajectory of quality, unparalleled service delivery as NDDC chairman.

“As NDDC chairman, it is gratifying to note that Ebie’s contributions to the development of the Niger Delta region, his native Ika nation inclusive, sync with the cardinal philosophy of the Tinubu administration, especially the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration”, the group said.

GCON emphasized that Ebie has marketed, and is still marketing, the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government through life-enhancing projects he has attracted to the region.

“He has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he is truly a reformer and technocrat, and the Ika nation is grateful to President Tinubu for appointing him”, the group stressed.

GCON Media highlighted Solar Street Lights provision in all streets within Ika nation, road construction, scholarships, human capital empowerment, provision of 100Kva generator and fully furnished ambulance to Agbor Central Hospital, Equipment of the Law Faculty ICT Unit, University of Delta, Agbor, among others, as some of the infrastructures Ebie attracted to Ika land.

While noting that Ebie has through commitment to genuine infrastructural provision become a rallying point, a beacon of hope and pillar of development greatly loved by all, the group stressed that his outstanding leadership style of not giving in to primordial and parochial politics has placed him miles ahead in the leadership and politics of the Ika Federal Constituency.

In a related development, another socio-political group, Inter Party Relations, has described the NDDC Chairman as a shining star of Delta politics and urged support for him by all.

In a statement issued in Asaba, the Delta state capital, by a member of Inter Party Relations, Mr Emmanuel America, who is also chairman of National Rescue Movement, described Ebie as a visionary leader who is full of wisdom and widespread support, adding that he performed creditably both as secretary to the government and Education Commissioner.

American maintained that Ebie’s achievements in both positions were unmatched.

The politician also said that in his present position as NDDC chairman, he had attracted a lot of developments to Delta State.

He therefore made a passionate appeal to Deltans, especially in the Delta North Senatorial district, to join others in queueing behind to continue to deliver good governance in the Niger Delta region.
