Cheap opportunist: Soludo’s man slams Ozigbo on Anambra security

Labour Party gubernatorial aspirant Valentine Ozigbo’s recent criticism of Anambra State’s government has sparked outrage, with many viewing his actions as a desperate attempt to gain political mileage.
Ozigbo’s negative remarks about the state have been condemned, and his tactics are seen as an effort to discredit the current administration and further his ambitions.
According to Christian Aburime, the Chief Press Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Ozigbo’s only path to attaining his ambition is through malicious condemnations rather than articulating solutions.
Aburime averred that Ozigbo has become a fellow traveler to misguided religious leaders who are unfatherly pontificating on security matters.
He said Ozigbo’s recent comments on security show the kind of selective outrage that undermines constructive dialogue about public safety, as the government has tackled the criminality in Anambra to place it among the least crime states in the Southeast region.
The low crime rate in the state, according to Aburime, is evident in the peaceful celebrations experienced during the yuletide period.
This underscores the unveiling of the state’s security network, ‘Operation Udo Ga Achi” (Peace Shall Reign) to checkmate criminal activities in Anambra.
