Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CaGram), Lagos State, has congratulated its National Vice Chairman of the South West, Hon. Okedara Kolawole, on his appointment as a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Campaign Council.

He was appointed a member of the New Generation Directorate.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman of CaGram Lagos, Prince Fatai Balogun, and the Acting Publicity Secretary, Rev. Stanley Ihedigbo.

The leadership of CaGram Lagos described the appointment as a recognition of the appointee’s commitment, experience and contributions to the development of society, expressing confidence that his wealth of experience would add value to the activities of the campaign council.

According to the statement, the appointment is also an indication of the confidence reposed in the National Vice Chairman by the leadership of the campaign and the wider political structure.

CaGram Lagos noted that individuals appointed to campaign councils have important responsibilities in mobilising stakeholders, communicating programmes and policies to the public, and strengthening engagement with communities at the grassroots.

The movement, therefore, expressed confidence that the appointee would bring his experience in communication, leadership and community engagement to bear on his new responsibility.

Prince Fatai Balogun and Rev. Stanley Ihedigbo further congratulated him on the appointment, describing it as a significant milestone and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the campaign council’s objectives.

They urged him to remain committed to the principles of responsible leadership, effective communication and service to the people while discharging his responsibilities as a member of the council.

The CaGram Lagos leadership also pledged its continued support for its National Vice Chairman, particularly in his efforts to promote constructive engagement, responsible communication and peaceful participation in the political process.

The association stressed the importance of credible communication and responsible media engagement in every political campaign, noting that the media and communication professionals have a role to play in ensuring that members of the public are adequately informed.

It called on all stakeholders involved in the campaign to promote issue-based engagement, respect differing opinions and encourage peaceful participation throughout the electoral process.

The association further expressed optimism that the appointment would provide another platform for its National Vice Chairman to contribute his ideas and experience to the campaign council.

CaGram Lagos congratulated him once again and wished him wisdom, strength and success in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
