BATSCM, NYCN partner to empower Nigerian Youths through Youth Development Centers

Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support Coalition Movement (BATSCM), Renewed Hope Agenda 2027 and the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build 774 Youth Development Centers across Nigeria.
According to a statement signed by the Director, BATSCM, Mayor (Dr) Kingsley Okoronkwo and President, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Amb. Solomon Adodo, respectively, the centers, which will be constructed for N77.4 billion, aim to empower Nigerian youths through skills acquisition, training, and development programs.
The project, which aligned with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, is expected to create not least 6 million jobs across the country.
Each Youth Development Center will feature modern facilities, including skills training workshops, seminars and conference rooms, sports centers, libraries, and cafeterias.
The BATSCM will provide funding for the construction of the centers, while the NYCN will provide suitable land for the project.
The project is expected to be completed within 24 months, and any disputes arising from the implementation of the MOU will be resolved through amicable negotiation between the parties.
The signing of the MOU marks a significant step towards empowering Nigerian youths and promoting economic development in the country.
