Amanda Ebeye storms CBI news with CMC Gladiators for special recognition visit

The atmosphere at CBI News TV and Baywood Group in Lagos came alive with excitement, glamour, and celebration as the CMC Gladiators, led by renowned media personality and entertainment executive, Ambassador Cornel Udofia, paid a strategic courtesy visit to the media organization in recognition of its contributions to journalism and societal development.

The visit, which drew notable personalities from the entertainment and media industries, was spearheaded by Ambassador Cornel Udofia, Publisher of The Gladiator Magazine, CEO of Cornel Entertainment, Convener of the CMC Africa Awards for Excellence, and Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos Chapter.

The event served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between the entertainment and media sectors while celebrating excellence, professionalism, and commitment to credible information dissemination.

During the visit, Ambassador Udofia, alongside members of the CMC Gladiators team, commended the management and staff of CBI News for their consistency, professionalism, and dedication to promoting impactful journalism and positive societal values.

As part of the occasion, awards and commendations were presented to the organization in appreciation of its unwavering commitment to media development and public enlightenment.

The gesture, according to the delegation, was aimed at encouraging CBI News to continue setting high standards within the Nigerian media landscape.

Adding prestige and glamour to the event was the presence of celebrated Nollywood actress Amanda Ebeye, who specially flew in from Canada to honour the invitation and participate in the gathering.

Her attendance became one of the major highlights of the visit as she granted an exclusive interview session to CBI News, where she spoke extensively about her acting career, international experiences, and unwavering passion for the growth of the Nigerian movie industry.

Amanda Ebeye also emphasized the importance of collaboration within the entertainment industry and encouraged young creatives to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence despite the challenges facing the sector.

The event also witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and notable personalities, including High Chief Obiageri Ihekwoba, Senior Special Assistant to the National President of AGN on Welfare; Grace Essien, a Benin-based actress; popular movie actor Lekan Alege; award-winning model and actress Queen Aminat Debora Salami; Publisher of Blissful Affairs Magazine, Adaobi Enekwa; renowned movie production manager and social media influencer glo glo; Dr. Champion Onyekwelu, Morning Rave TV presenter; Faith Edem, a final year Mass Communication student of Yaba College of Technology; and Chukwuma Erondu, cameraman with AIT/Ray Power FM, among other distinguished members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter.

Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Cornel Udofia, who also serves as the PR and Media Strategist to Amanda Ebeye, stressed the importance of strong partnerships between media organizations and stakeholders in the entertainment industry.

According to him, collaboration between both sectors remains crucial in shaping positive narratives, projecting Nigerian talents to the global stage, and fostering national development through responsible storytelling and information sharing.
