In the vast history of human existence, there occasionally emerges a soul whose very essence is imbued with an enigmatic and ineffable aura, an aura so potent and transcendent that it casts the fabrication of steel with his destiny, with the sacred breath of Prana, a life force impervious to the machinations of elemental forces, save for the celestial realms alone.

Such a being moves through the mortal plane not by mere happenstance but propelled by cosmic energies that defy the comprehension of ordinary men.

Among these rare luminaries stands the Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Godswill Akpabio (GCON), a man whose life’s odyssey transcends the boundaries of human understanding. His ascent to power is not merely a political journey but a celestial pilgrimage, an ascension marked by an uncommon cosmic resonance that empirical scrutiny and mundane analytics fail to decode.

His trajectory is a living testament to the mysterious interplay of fate and divine will, a narrative etched in the stars and whispered by the winds of the universe.

This extraordinary phenomenon was not lost upon the keen spiritual vision of the late Lady of Songs, Christiana Essien, whose third eye, the mystical gateway to the unseen realms, pierced through the veils of time and space.

It was on a fateful day when Senator Akpabio, destined for a commissioner’s screening in Uyo, found himself thwarted by the missed flight, an event that led him to seek refuge in the sanctuary of Christiana Essien’s abode, a haven where spiritual energies converged and destinies were revealed.

“Dear Aunty,” Akpabio had said, “I am bound for Akwa Ibom for the commissioner’s screening, yet fate has denied me passage due to a missed flight .” In response, Christiana, with a voice resonant with the echoes of the cosmos, summoned his housekeeper to offer sustenance, food, and drink imbued with the subtle energies of the earth.

As the nourishment settled, her countenance transformed, her eyes gleaming with prophetic fire. From the depths of her spirit, she proclaimed, “You are not destined merely to be a commissioner in Akwa Ibom. Nay, your path is loftier, you shall ascend to the governorship, succeeding Attah himself.”

Akpabio’s laughter, rich and unrestrained, filled the room, a sound mingling disbelief with wonder. Yet Christiana, undeterred, retreated briefly into her sanctum, returning with a solemn declaration: “You shall be a Senator. Mark my words, do not be surprised if one day you serve this nation at its highest echelons of power.”

Her words, laden with the weight of spiritual certainty, were not mere conjecture but the unveiling of a cosmic decree.

Indeed, the prophecy unfolded with divine precision. Despite lacking the conventional backing of the political elite in Akwa Ibom, Akpabio’s rise was fueled by the fervent support of the youth, a testament to the magnetic pull of his uncommon aura.

In 2006, as the primaries approached, attempts by party chapter chairmen to undermine his candidacy were thwarted, as if invisible celestial forces shielded him like an unstoppable missile, his aura’s voice drowning out the clamour of opposition.

He was announced and presented as the Candidate of the PDP and later won the gubernatorial election in 2007.

His governance during the first four years was a symphony of unprecedented achievements, monuments of progress such as the eccentric Itam Flyover, the Atiku Flyover, the dualization of Aka-Nung Udoe Road, dualization of Abak-Ikot Ekpene Road, dualization of Olusegun Obasanjo Way, and Dualization of Calabar-Itu Road.

The completion of the airport project was crowned by its maiden aircraft landing ceremony, and the erection of the most magnificent Government House and Governor’s office.

His visionary declaration of free education from primary to secondary school, the payment of SSCE fees for public school students, and the establishment of the e-Library all bore the imprint of a leader whose spirit was aligned with the higher purpose of societal transformation.

Yet, the second term election plunged into the abyss of tribal strife and political machinations. Senator John Udoehe of the ACN emerged as a formidable adversary, and Akpabio found himself ensnared in a web of blackmail and demonization, accused falsely of malevolence against his people.

Despite his unwavering love and tangible development for the Ibibio youth, the venom of ethnic division sought to eclipse his luminous legacy.

But the electorate, guided by a wisdom beyond the visible, saw through the veil of deceit. In the 2011 polls, Akpabio triumphed against insurmountable odds, a victory not merely of politics but of divinity manifest.

His destiny, forged in the crucible of cosmic will and spiritual fortitude, stood as a beacon—a testament to the power of an uncommon aura, a Prana that no earthly force could subdue, only the celestial decree could command.

Thus unfolds the saga of Senator Godswill Akpabio, a man whose life is a living parable of mystical ascendancy, a soul whose uncommon aura is the celestial compass guiding him through the labyrinth of mortal challenges toward the zenith of national leadership.

In the very instant that he tripled the magnitude of development he had painstakingly wrought during his inaugural term, a radiant aura of transformation began to envelop the land.

With the celestial force of a guiding star, he completed the Ekom Iman-Abak Road with a flyover, crowned by a majestic suspended bridge that seemed to float like a silver thread across the sky of Abak

He then unveiled one of the most magnificent stadiums the world had ever beheld, christened the “Nest of Champions,” a sanctum where dreams took flight.

This hallowed arena was later reborn as the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, evidence of his selfless life and the uncommon metamorphosis he inspired.

His mystical energy surged forth as he dualized the Uyo-Ikot Ekpene Road, the Uruan Street, the ancient Oron Road, now known as Udom Emmanuel Way and the Idoro Road.

In total, Akpabio constructed over 1,700 kilometers of roadways and erected 82 bridges, each a conduit of progress and unity, shimmering with the power of his indomitable spirit.

Under the aegis of his inter-ministerial projects, he breathed new life into over 2,000 classroom blocks scattered across the state, infusing them with knowledge and hope.

Books and desks were bestowed upon public schools, while libraries and laboratories were reequipped, transforming these halls of learning into sanctuaries of enlightenment.

In the sub-sector of health, he created a tapestry of reform, reshaping policies with a divine touch. Healthcare became a sacred right, free for children under five and elders beyond sixty-five.

Sixteen cottage hospitals rose like beacons of healing, alongside new general hospitals, culminating in the crowning jewel: the Ibom Specialty Hospital, a referral institution of unparalleled repute.

In the year 2015, the hour came for him to relinquish the mantle of power. With the wisdom of the stars guiding his hand, he ushered in a financial expert, Deacon Udom Emmanuel (CON), who not only preserved but expanded the infrastructure he had birthed. His choice was not a failure but a triumphant success.

But Akpabio did not depart empty-handed. The people, their hearts aflame with loyalty, cast their votes in a mighty tide, sending him to the Senate to represent the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

Upon entering this new era, his aura blazed with newfound intensity. As a first-time senator, he was anointed the Senate Minority Leader, a rare honour bestowed upon those who wield the cosmic power of destiny.

His voice became a clarion call, echoing across the vast expanse of Nigeria’s political firmament. The majority sought to silence him, yet his resonance was too potent, his light too bright, casting shadows upon those who viewed him as a threat to their dominion.

His persona came under siege; his integrity was dragged through the mire. Yet, as an intelligent politician guided by divine providence, he embraced transformation once more, defecting to the APC.

This act stirred a tempest in Akwa Ibom State, for the party bore a tarnished image, and the people’s hearts were heavy with doubt.

To us, he was more than a governor; he was an elder brother, a steadfast companion whose bond transcended political epochs. I penned an article titled, “Akpabio, Why Have You Mortgaged Your Glory?”, words that wounded him deeply. I felt remorse and sought his forgiveness.

Yet within that piece, I warned him of the perilous path ahead, a track inhabited by those restless and hostile to his light.

As prophecy foretold, it was these very souls within his new party who conspired to thwart his ambitions. The people of Akwa Ibom, at that juncture, harboured no love for the platform he had embraced.

He fell, yet he was not shattered. Though bestowed the position of Federal Minister, it was the hand of the Divine that humbled him, compelling him to discern the true nature of those around him.

When God breaks a man, it is a sacred moment, a time to learn, to perceive the attitudes of men, to distinguish friend from foe, and to feel the people’s suffering. Thus, when he would rise again, he would lead with wisdom and compassion.

After three years in the crucible of trial, he returned to contest once more. Many foresaw his defeat, but as a child of Providence, his destiny, held in the celestial hands of divinity, propelled him forward. A voice from the stars whispered, “Son, it is time to make you great again.”

He triumphed in the senatorial election, a defining moment when his cosmic power radiated with renewed strength. Adversaries rose, questioning how a humble son of Akwa Ibom, a minority within minorities, could unsettle the mighty.

The King himself rose and became the campaign manager for Senator Akpabio’s ascent to the Senate Presidency, engaging in relentless house-to-house evangelism. In the end, he emerged victorious, crowned as the Senate President of Nigeria.

There exist men whose destinies speak in tongues beyond mortal comprehension, from English to Spanish, from Spanish to Latin, and from Latin to French. Their voices of fate transcend interpretation, echoing through the corridors of time and space, heralding the rise of legends.

In contemporary times, many find themselves pondering the profound question: by what extraordinary means did Governor Umo Eno PhD summon the courage and resolve to forsake the sanctuary of a dominant and formidable political party in Akwa Ibom State, and instead, align himself with Senator Godswill Akpabio in embracing the All Progressives Congress (APC), once deemed the underdog faction within the State?

This monumental shift transcends mere political calculation; it is a manifestation of a deeper, mystical convergence.

When two potent spiritual entities converge, their inherent divinity orchestrates a sacred symphony. Their souls awaken from slumber, engaging in a profound communion that ignites an ethereal spark within their spirits. This spiritual ignition becomes a divine directive, compelling their corporeal forms to act in harmonious obedience to the celestial decree.

The divinity commands the souls toward enlightenment, while the awakened spirit governs the body’s actions, ensuring the divine will is manifest in the physical realm.

I perceive an imminent and mighty proclamation destined for Akwa Ibom State, a resurgence of hope that was absent in previous political amalgamations.

This divinely inspired movement is but the prelude to a spiritual awakening, a cosmic stimulation poised to birth unprecedented greatness within the State. The very fabric of Akwa Ibom’s destiny is being recreated anew, infused with celestial purpose and transformative power.

The future of Akwa Ibom State is heavy with promise, as if gestating a miraculous birth. Likewise, the destiny of Senator Godswill Akpabio (GCON) within Nigeria is in a state of sacred gestation.

The forthcoming emergence will astonish the world, for what the Divine shall accomplish through the spiritual rebirth of Umo Eno and Akpabio will leave an indelible mark upon the State’s history.
