A celebration of excellence, leadership in policing

It was a moment of pride and joy as we celebrated our boss, supporter, and mentor, Assistant General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade, the distinguished Officer in Charge of Onikan Zone 2 Headquarters.

AIG Fayoade has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership and integrity in policing — a true role model as testified by his men and colleagues.

In recognition of his remarkable service and outstanding relationship with the media, he was honored with the Award of Excellence as the “Most Media-Friendly Police Officer of the Decade”, presented by The Gladiators Magazine in collaboration with CMC Global / Cornel Entertainment.

The grand event, which took place on Tuesday, 28th October 2025, was led by yours truly, Amb. Cornell Udofia, Africa’s Most Prolific Media Guru and the Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

The celebration was beautifully covered and broadcast by African Independent Television (AIT) — bringing the joy, honor, and inspiration of the moment to viewers across the continent.

In his heartfelt response, AIG Adegoke Fayoade expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, thanking Amb. Udofia and the entire organizing team for the surprise celebration. He also prayed for continued success and unity among his team and supporters.

Indeed, it was a day that celebrated not just a leader, but a legacy of service, dedication, and humanity in policing.
